This was taken at the R.S.P.B. Marshside Reserve near Southport. The birds breed in front of the main hide. It is a reserve best visited in the winter at the time of high tide.

I have ringed 115 european bird species, but whose counting. I enjoy all natural history and wanted to be a lumberjack. I ended up a desk bound engineer, some would say on my mother's side
