Black Darters

It is possible to see these in September,but the weather we are having  is stopping me from improving on these shots.  There is always next year.

I originally went to watch the Ospreys at Foulshaw Moss, but they were too far away to keep my attention hence these photographs.

Impossible to get all the subject in focus from this angle.

Female because no clasper on the end of the body

The correct angle for the limited depth of field.

Beautiful Demoiselles

Ladies first,but why the drab colour compared to the male ?

This male is not as beautiful in my opinion as the Banded Demoiselle
